Xbox 360 Neighborhood on RGH: xbdm without owning a kit
People still say “Neighborhood” when they mean: talk to the console over the network, push an XEX, poke memory. On a retail RGH3 that usually means xbdm.xex loaded from Dashlaunch — not a studio recovery image.
Practical 2026 stack
Dashlaunch plugin line, firewall awareness, and sane defaults. Deeper notes: xbdm + Neighborhood. Unsigned vs SDK: SDK and unsigned.
Dev tools do not mint Live identity
Launching homebrew over xbdm does not give you a clean KeyVault. If the retail vault is banned — or you thought a kit pairing myth would unban a Trinity — you still need a retail unshared kv.bin in a proper rebuild.
Retail KV counter: unshared.shop. Myths: pairing vs retail RGH · retail vs XDK.
Use Neighborhood-style tooling to develop. Use a shop KV to exist on Live as a retail console.
