FAQ
XeLL vs Bad Update vs XeUnshackle?
XeLL is a small OS on a glitched NAND. Bad Update exploits retail 17559 until power-off. XeUnshackle is a post-exploit payload that applies HV/kernel patches and loads Dashlaunch-like launch.xex for that session. Do not install Dashlaunch to retail flash from FreeMyXe.
PicoFlasher vs xFlasher 360 vs NAND-X?
PicoFlasher on a Raspberry Pi Pico is the cheap/fast default inside J-Runner with Extras. xFlasher and NAND-X remain valid programmers. Corona 4GB needs firmware that speaks eMMC/SPI correctly.
What is Glitch2 vs Glitch2m?
Glitch2 is the RGH1.2/RGH3-style XeLL write. Glitch2m uses virtual eFuses on NAND when real eFuses look unbootable. Wrong radio button, wrong brick.
Is kv.bin only for Xbox Live unbans?
No. It is console identity: serial-shaped data, DVD key material, Live reputation. Offline Aurora users still have one. Dual-console households should not clone it. Sellers should not ship a random vault from 2019 zips.
Can I dump NAND during a Bad Update session?
Tools like Simple 360 NAND Flasher may run after the right HV patches. That dump still contains kv.bin. Treat it like an RGH dump: private, named, backed up with the CPU key.
